I'm Jordan

Hello my name is Jordan, I am a student Stuart Hobson middle school. I am thirteen years old. My role model is my brother because he is an artist and does great art. I also want to do great art one day. I like to play games, draw, watch movies, and run. The high light of my life was becoming an uncle. I hope the future holds me becoming an artist, my family being happy, and my cousins and brothers doing what they want to do.

Meet Montell

Hello I am Montell.A, I am also a student of Stuart Hobson middle school, I am thirteen going on fourteen years old. My role model is Mr.Garner, my eighth grade mathematics instructor, because he is a great male teacher of mathematics and I aspire to become a mathematician. I enjoy spending my free time doing things such as playing online games, like Runescape. The highlight of my life was probably making the choice to attend Stuart Hobson, I have made many friends here and my teachers are dedicated to the students, overall this is a friendly environment. I hope that my future holds a bright and prosperous life style, I also hope that I will be able to overcome the obstacles before me.

Alice Paul

Alice was an American suffragist leader, she fought for women's rights with her close friend Lucy Burns and others. She led a successful campaign for women's suffrage that as a result led to the Nineteenth Amendment to the United States Constitution. She received her undergraduate from Swathmore College, and earned her M.A and PhD from the university of Pennsylvania. In 1929, she became the primary resident for 40 years of a house bought by Alva Belmont, located on Capital Hill neighborhood of Washington, D.C. Alice Paul died at the age of 92 on July 9,1977 at the Quaker Greenleaf Extension Home in Moorestown Township, New Jersey, near her family home of Paulsdale. She is an appropriate name for our class simply because she was a great person. It is an honor to have a woman to have fought for women as a class name.
